The ABC’s of Tinted Moisturizers (BB CC DD)

Cremes

With all this rage over BB, CC, and now DD creams it’s a wonder our faces haven’t turned against us. Most of us are trying all the latest products, but are we causing more harm to our skin than helping? Let’s check out what they have to offer. BB or Beauty Balm cream derived from Southeast Asia and is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock. Amazing, right? It can also be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer. CC cream, also known as Color Control cream is said to provide natural-looking skin coverage by using nourishing ingredients, including treatment of uneven skin tones. Seems pretty legit to me.

But what about this new DD cream? Julep has created a supposed “Dynamic Do-all” crème that goes beyond BB and CC to moisturize, prime, perfect, and protect—both instantly and over time. Wow! I guess it really doesn’t get any better than that, and with two patented anti-aging ingredients that decrease the appearance of pores and fine lines, I’d say I’m sold! It seems quite impossible for any of these creams to be harmful. But where do we stand? Now that we have a new Dynamic Do-all crème I guess there is no need for all the others. Are you a BB, CC, or DD gal?
