Preen team Thea Bregazzi and Justin Thornton traveled to space and back for their spring 2014 collection via the late nineties sci-fi movie Gattaca. The couple’s inspiration lead them to design zigzag patchwork patterns and jagged hemlines that were out of this world. But, to think Thornton and Bregazzi pulled color inspiration from South Beach to match their space travel, the couple had been “fantasizing about Miami.” Nonetheless bright whites and bold colors are the perfect recipe for spring. Neutral shades of gray and pastels softened the shocking tones, followed by another jolt of color from a family of pinks that lead to a finale of black. Surely this collection was meant for Miami, taking the Preen woman from office to disco.
