October’s Beauty Favorites

This month’s beauty favorites is all about keeping your skin clean. I spend my Sunday mornings wearing face masks and I like to rotate a few different ones. Lately I’ve been using various sheet masks by boscia. I’ve always loved the skincare line, especially their blackhead strips but now I depend on Tony Moly for that. With hydrogel masks and pore combating balms, I have put together 7 of my favorite beauty products for October. Continue reading for more.

1. boscia Charcoal Pore-Minimizing Hydrogel Mask
This slimy sheet mask is by far my favorite charcoal product. Not only does it reducing the appearance of pores and remove blackheads, it also removes whiteheads. After one use I noticed my skin was softer, more revived and clearer. What’s more is the mask comes in 2 pieces, allowing for use on any size face.

2. Tony Moly Egg Pore Blackhead Steam Balm
Removing blackheads just got so much easier (and much less painful). I picked up Tony Moly’s blackhead steam balm during a routine visit to Sephora a few weeks ago. I was told the balm works by heating up and essentially draws out dirt and oil within minutes. This product works! It took a few tries, but I already started to notice the difference. I am going to keep using it until it runs out.

3. Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep Night Recovery
I am all about my nighttime skincare routine and a good PM treatment. While I slept with this night recovery, my skin was recovering from the day’s drama. I apply a bit after cleansing my face, get some shut-eye, and awake with fresher, more illuminated skin. If you’re after a more luminous, rested-looking appearance, than this baby is for you!

4. Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm
After a recent purchase from NET-A-PORTER, I received a sample of Omorovicza’s cleansing balm. I used it to remove my makeup (which it did, very well) and to thoroughly cleanse my skin. I fell in love with it right away. I never cared for cleansers before because I always thought my skin wasn’t getting really clean, but the Hungarian moor mud really detoxifies my skin. It’s a noticeable clean that I love.

5. Phyto PHYTOKÉRATINE Repairing Thermal Protectant Spray
Since I chopped my hair I’ve been using heat-styling tools. The result of this is my locks are on the dry side and that is exactly what I do not want for my hair. I received the Phyto protectant spray in a Glossybox shipment and thought it was going to save my tresses. Thankfully for me, it did. The spray targets heat damage to repair and protect my weakened hair.

6. belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
I tend to swap my moisturizers on a weekly basis just so I can try new products. When I find something I love, I end up using it more often. The belif aqua bomb is my new BFF. This mineral oil-free gel-cream is amazing and super lightweight. It helped to improve my skin elasticity and it minimized the appearances of my pores. My skin is absolutely supple and gorgeous now.

7. boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration
During the colder days of the season my skin tends to get dry. What I found with using this deep hydration mask is, immediately my skin is totally hydrated. I don’t have to apply any additional creams because the cold-pressed tsubaki oil, vitamin E, and serine, delivers ultimate hydration that lasts.
