Can you believe it is almost 2017?! It’s been a wild ride for me, this year. Since my trip to Dominican Republic, last December, I’ve done a lot of growing. From soul searching to a spiritual cleansing, and I even quit drinking; I have finally flourished. Anaïs Nin* once said, “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” I outgrew my old way of thinking, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. I don’t believe in regret, and I don’t believe in coincidences. The things that excite you are not random. They are connected to your purpose.[blockquote align=”none” author=”Anaïs Nin”]”And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”[/blockquote]
As we turn the page on a new year, I go in fierce, strong, and full of fire. I will also be stepping out in sequins, to outshine Mercury. She’s gone retrograde in Capricorn (the realm of responsibilities, plans, ambition, career, social status, physical and social structures, strategy, management, and control), and stirring up some drama, I’m sure. I say, bring it on, baby! I’ll be styling myself in a glitzy ensemble and preparing for action. Here is option 1 and option 2. There is little time left to shop for New Year’s Eve, what are you wearing?

*It has been said that Elizabeth Appell is the original author of this quote. That still remains a mystery.
