An odd pair for me each summer is sweltering heat and large scissors. I chop jeans like you wouldn’t believe, some of them do not make the cut (pun intended). Once the summer rolls her humid head around I take to my worn-in denim from seasons before and start making jorts, this is by far my favorite Summertime DIY. I don’t skimp on other crafts either. For instance, long sleeve shirts become muscle tees, basic tees become crop-tops, and I one time fringed the bottom of a muscle tee I cropped, all in good fun! It’s like, the more Sauza I drink, the craftier I get. Side note: Tequila and I use to be frienemes, but not since Sauza. You can find delicious recipes, here.
Ever think you could make jorts with a cowboy? Here’s your chance to meet a man who crafts his heart out. Okay, so maybe he’s not the best DIY-er. But what he lacks in cutting skills, he more than makes up for when he makes the perfect Sauza-rita. Watch him in action for ideas for your next ladies’ night in: http://bit.ly/1juaLln.
