Last night, I had a sleepover at my friend’s place in Bushwick. The night prior we went to a lecture, held by Marianne Williamson. Marianne is the author of A Return to Love; a phenomenal book, that I recommend everyone read. When we got back, we spoke about how thought provoking her words were. So much so, that it encouraged us to look into Marianne’s live steam, at which time, I pulled out my trusty HP Spectre. Like most, I love showing off my shiny new toys, but this time, while we re-watched Marianne speak, my friend gazed in awe at my HP laptop. I’ve got to say it felt good! I know my notebook is great looking, but what’s more is it is impressively functional.
The next morning Christine and I set out on a mission to hunt down some much-needed caffeine. Her aunt conveniently has a coffee shop located just 3 blocks away from Christine’s apartment, called Central Cafe. For our journey, I brought along my Spectre, because, #BlogLife. I mean, those emails aren’t going to answer themselves, am I right? *Insert awkward laugh* Once we arrived, I plopped down in a corner to hammer away at work, and it got me thinking… My ensemble looks fabulous with this laptop! I decided that day, to go with a more casual approach, since for the remainder of the afternoon we’d also get some activities done.[pipdig_left]
Chris and I had a full schedule planned, and for that, adorable flatforms were at the top of my life hack-list!
- DO wear comfortable shoes for a day of discovering.
- DO wear relaxed clothes, for obvious reasons.
- DO take your laptop with you on adventures, especially if it’s one of the thinnest laptops on the market!
Needless to say, our excursion was nothing short of fun, but I guess I have my digital assistant, Cortana to thank for that. Believe it or not, my HP Spectre is helping me travel better. I’ve never been one to plan ahead; I am more of a spontaneous gal, but with my Spectre, I actually want to organize my escapades. Maybe it’s the beautiful design, or maybe it’s being able to speak with my laptop? Whatever it is, I’m on the ball and it’s fabulous!
