Scandinavian designer Henrik Vibskov, known for his avant-garde designs, and art installations, previewed his Men’s Spring/Summer 2012 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week 2012. Vibskov’s collection, displayed by the likes of goggle wearing, beret-clad gentlemen, some hinged with wooden dowels, played up by influences inspired by “Clockwork Orange,” Steve McQueen, and 19th century artisans, miners and carpenters. The collection displayed on a turning installation with a series of doors that models walked in and out of. With the rich texture, woven jackets, tie-dye suits, and colors fresh for Summer 2012, the styling could not have been more perfect. Special favorites including Vibskov’s drop-crotch pants, and floral shorts, overpower my love for any other pieces in his collection. Also, I am dying for those double framed spectacles.
