STEVE MADDEN | HOW TO WEAR: STUDS
It’s no secret that Steve Madden loves studs. From biker boots and feminine flats to punky platforms and stylish sneakers, our new collection is chock-full of spikes and studs for every appetite. For the inaugural episode of our new series “How to Wear,” we asked fashion blogger extraordinaire Christina Zayas of LeCityKitty to style four unique looks inspired by Steve Madden’s summer studs: the TARNNEY, the ANXOUS, the OBSTCL-S and the BOLDDD (as seen on model/singer/actress Aurielle Rounsaville).

NMRKT | FASHION SERIES
New York City’s hippest and hottest turned out to our first Fashion Series event last Thursday night to celebrate jewelry designer Chris Habana and fashion blogger Christina Zayas of Le City Kitty. The Mondrian in Soho’s exotic Mister H club played host to youthful mix of the fashion elite, including pop star Natalia Kills and Jessie Cohen, the creative mind behind Closet Collage. The crowd sported mostly black and slim silhouettes, dancing into the night under music spun by NMRKT’s very own Julia. We asked partiers to tell us what they are in the market for, as a little hint at what the new site will be like. Check out pictures from the event on our Facebook album – photos by David Axelrad of What Happened Last Night?!
REFINERY29 | QUICK CHANGE ARTIST | BROUGHT TO YOU BY GUESS BY MARCIANO
We’ve already introduced you Ms. Christina Zayas, the ballsy, black-clad fashion ace behind Le City Kitty (and a finalist for our Next Big Style Blogger challenge.) Here’s your second chance to see her strut her stuff. Hangin’ tough on the streets of Greenwich Village, Christina slips in and out of Guess styles that suit her sleek, rocker aesthetic — a pair of high-steppin’ black booties, a heavy chain bracelet, and a sharp denim jacket — to a capital T. Sweet, sure. But don’t mess with this girl.
