How To Donate Makeup To Women In Need

How To Donate Makeup To Women In Need #LeCityKitty

It has been an entire week since I last posted, and for that, I apologize. I was so swamped with meetings and events, but I am back and ready to offer up a good deed! This week, I wanted to touch on something that is dear to my heart. I recently had the opportunity to work with Estée Lauder on a campaign to promote their Pure Color Envy collection. As part of the campaign, I received a gift of 130 lip products. Now, as you can imagine, that is more than anyone can ask for—let alone need. Hosting a giveaway or even having my friends take their pick was on the list of things to do, but I felt I needed to do something more. I’ve decided to donate most of the collection, along with a ton of other beauty products I haven’t used, to women in need.

As a blogger, I have an amazing platform that allows me to work with luxury brands—most of which, are not available to someone getting back on their feet. There are so many women out there who have really suffered, and I intend to help those who are homeless or victims of domestic violence look and feel their best. With my donation, I have the chance to put a little sparkle and dignity back into the lives of teens and women in crisis. If you would like to donate your unwanted or gently used makeup, I have included a few charitable organizations who accept unused, unopened, and unexpired beauty products and toiletries, below.
