Last weekend I had the pleasure of visiting Washington, DC as an ambassador for NYCgo. I stayed at the lovely Kimpton Hotel Palomar for two-nights, and got to truly peruse as a tourist. From date-nights with my photographer to taking in Georgetown life, and finally (coming soon in a new post) walking along the National Mall. All was beautiful and picturesque, but none as thrilling as standing on the most iconic steps from one of my all time favorite movies: The Exorcist. I happily ran to the location after shooting these images, with tremendous joy! The haunting film is a must-watch for Halloween, which just so happens to be today. If you’re going to visit DC, please eat at Havana, stay at Kimpton, and go check out those creepy stairs. Oh, and one last thing, rent a bike to ride by the Washington Monument. Its leave-filled location is absolutely stunning!
