Last Thursday, I was invited to a private preview of the Cailler holiday-inspired pop-up shop (info here), as one of their special guests. If you haven’t heard of them, Cailler has been the home of Swiss chocolate for almost 200 years, and crafts all of its premium Swiss chocolate in house—from bean to bar—with recipes and techniques perfected over generations. With the Swiss brand’s Master Chocolatier, Géraldine Mueller Maras on hand, I got to indulge in the most amazing chocolate tasting. Swoon!
What’s more is, to mark the occasion, Cailler tapped renowned creative window artist and ambassador-at-large, Simon Doonan, to craft a gorgeous window display. The installation Simon created pays homage to the season’s most delicious treat, New York high fashion and Cailler’s rich historical Swiss heritage. Simon and I got to chat about his gorgeous creation, as well as my tattoos. It was indeed a treat, one of which you can buy on Amazon.com (the chocolate, not Simon).
Don’t forget to stock up on these Swiss yummy treats on Amazon.com! You can also visit the pop-up shop and check out Simon’s handiwork, yourself. The shop is open now through November 26th at 408 West 14th Street (between 9th and 10th Ave) in NYC. Get more details, here.
