Blonde Lob #lecitykitty

I am elated with my decision to go back to blonde, and cut my hair short, once again. My best friend kept insisting on it for a while, so once I went lighter, I knew I had to take the plunge and chop it. This hair process all started when I attempted to go for peachy tresses (think Sienna Miller at the 2013 British Fashion Awards) and failed. I ended up with a more tangerine look, which was not the fruit I was going for. A few weeks later I began shooting with Target Denim and was asked to change my hair color. If you look below, you’ll find me rocking a very bright fuchsia or grape, if you will.

I wore that color until it began washing out. In some areas, my hair color was a pretty lavender, but because orange was underneath, it became visible and not so pretty. About 4 weeks ago, I finally gave in (I also really wanted platinum hair for NYFW) and met with Amanda Galmiche, when she was at ARROJO. She lifted me out of my murky hue. Thrilled to bits to be blonde, it wasn’t long after until I went back to the salon for a long bob, also known as a lob. Alex Efstratiou refreshed my length with her capable hands. I feel like a new person! What’s more is I have a few great products to help maintain my mane.

I was given ARROJO’s color save shampoo, whipped treatment, and thickening lotion. These were the exact products used on my hair each time I visited ARROJO, so I’ll always have that fresh-from-the-salon look.

What do you think of my new look? Tell me your thoughts about my hair transformation below.

the yellow sunglasses – what brand is that??

    • I don’t think they’re any label. I picked them up at The Rising States. I heard they have them at Sincerely, Tommy and Patricia Field’s in Manhattan.
