It’s that time again! It’s time for me to reveal my monthly beauty favorites. For August, I focused on my skin, making the most of the products that allowed me to showcase an au naturale look. With Mario Badescu’s facial spray and Smashbox’s BB Water, I was able to keep my skin light and fresh this summer. These are the products I use everyday. On occasion, I wear heavier makeup, for times that require a more intense look. But I prefer to keep it simple; less is absolutely more. Keep reading for my favorite beauty products for last month.

1. Drybar Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray
I am absolutely obsessed with this product! Drybar managed to get their Money Maker Hairspray to smell amazing. While I get great hold with flexible style, there’s an added boost of freshness from the wonderful scent. It is by far my favorite finishing spray. Plus, I get a lot of compliments on how good my hair smells, and that’s always nice.
2. bareminerals Stroke of Light Eye Brightener
I have never been a fan of dark circles, especially when I am trying to maintain even skin tone. The magic behind the Stroke of Light Eye Brightener is a combination of its ability to diffuse dark shadows while visibly reducing fine lines and dark circles. It’s like, bam! You’ve got illuminating eyes.
3. GLAMGLOW YOUTHCLEANSE Daily Exfoliating Cleanser
My face is very excited about how clean its been lately. I received the YOUTHCLEANSE Daily Exfoliating Cleanser in a Glossybox package I get once a month. I’ve used GLAMGLOW products in the past, and have even included a few of their masks in other monthly beauty posts. I really love the GLAMGLOW line and this cleanser that transforms from mud into a foaming lather is quite amazing!
4. Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade
If there is one product I cannot live without, it’s my DIPBROW Pomade by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I may not like to pile makeup on my face, but I do love to have perfectly shaped, full eyebrows. I use the creamy, smudge-free pomade to smooth and define my brows, as well as fill in spaces where hair lacks growth. My tool of choice is Anastasia’s Brush #12.
5. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Water Broad Spectrum SPF 30
As I mentioned, I typically go for a minimal makeup look on a daily basis, so my choice of coverage is Smashbox’s BB Water. I began using the camera ready formula after working with Smashbox to promote the release of this product on Instagram. I honestly loved it! Once I applied the BB water, I noticed how smooth it made my skin feel. My skin remains hydrated and it covers my blemishes in one coat. I call that amazing!
6. Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater
Oh, the refreshing feeling of aloe, herbs and rosewater misting your skin. It’s such a luxurious experience. Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray quenches my thirsty skin and smells lovely. I even use it to set my make-up and right after I apply my moisturizer, day or night. It’s great for hydrating your décollage, too.
7. Manna Kadar Cosmetics Lash Primer
You nurture your locks for growth, why not do the same for your lashes? That’s what I thought when I was first given Manna Kadar’s Cosmetics Lash Primer. For a week now, after I wash my face, I apply a coat of the lash primer to my eyelashes to condition while I sleep. I repeat this ritual in the morning following my BB water. I typically wear it alone, but when I use the primer with mascara, it keeps my lashes from clumping.
8. Glossier Coconut Balm Dotcom
Last, but not least, my number one favorite lip balm. Like most women, I jumped on the Glossier bandwagon once I heard all the hype. I fell in love with their Balm Dotcom, immediately. But when they released their moisturizing and conditioning salve in coconut, I knew I had to preorder it asap! The Coconut Balm Dotcom is like a vacation for your lips. It feels amazing and is better for your pout than Chapstick.
